Akmola Oblast Department of Business and Industry coordinates tourist activities in Akmola oblast. The Department takes part in formation and implementation of the state tourism policy. Its competencies include tourist infrastructure development, licensing of tourist activities, and promotion of the region’s tourist products. The Department has international and domestic tourism partnerships with different stakeholders, participates in international and national tourist fairs and exhibitions, and holds regional fairs.
