The Pavlodar Oblast Department of Physical Culture and Sports State Agency has been implementing its functions as follows: 1) implementation in the Oblast of the State Programme for Mass Sport Development, 2) generation of strategic plans for development in the Oblast of physical culture and sports, 3) creation and strengthening of material and technical base of physical culture and sports, etc. The Tourist Activity Development Section deals with the regional tourism products quality improvement and promotion to Kazakhstan and global markets by way of implementing the Oblast Programme, issuing licences for performance of tourist agent and tourist operator activities, and monitoring licence requirements compliance.
