The Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a National Tourist Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the country’s central executive body which manages tourism. It takes an active participation in outlining and implementing the state policy in the area of tourism. The Ministry’s competencies include reviewing, forecasting, and regulating the domestic tourist services market, advocating for tourism, and (within its respective competencies) information campaigning and publishing about tourism. Jointly with other stakeholders, the Ministry conducts scientific and other research in tourism, maintains international and internal tourism ties, organizes and holds national exhibitions of tourist goods and services, coordinates the work of tourist bodies, within its respective competencies.
