Kazakhstan and UNWTO signed cooperation memo within EXPO-2017
Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev and Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Taleb Rifai have signed memorandum of cooperation in tourism within EXPO 2017,during the visit of the Kazakhstani delegation at the international travel trade show ITB 2014 in Berlin.
Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Taleb Rifai in his address emphasized the importance of holding EXPO 2017 in Astana in the light of increased inflow of tourists into Kazakhstan, development of its infrastructure and voiced the UNWTO firm intention to support Kazakhstan.
At the end the Ministry and the UNWTO signed a memorandum of cooperation in tourism within EXPO 2017, official website of Strategy 2050 reported.
The ITB Berlin (Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin) is the world's largest tourism trade fair.
